Janey Sczepczenski Wolfe was born on September 22, 1952, the daughter of the late Joseph Peter and Ester Marshall Sczepczenski. On November 29, 1969, she was united in marriage to Buddy Leon Wolfe, who preceded her in death on October 21, 1996. Janey departed this life on June 21, 2017, at the age of 64 years, 8 months, and 30 days.
Janey attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She was a member of the Republican Women's Organization. Before she was a homemaker, Janey worked for the Wolfe Brothers Horse Trader's Restaurant, Hardin County tourism, and as a substitute teacher for the Hardin County Schools. She loved her cat, Tom, and watching Hardin County Basketball.
Janey is survived by her daughters, Amanda Wolfe Harrison of Sheffield, Alabama, Gretchen Wolfe Climer of Savannah, Tennessee, Molly Anabel Wolfe of Florence, Alabama, and Kaitlin Wolfe of Savannah, Tennessee;grandchildren, Ashlin Grace Hicks, Payten Climer, Greenlee Climer, Millie-Kate Hutton, and Grayson Williams; aunt, Peggy Spencer; nieces, Allison Wolfe Climer, Jessica Wolfe, Heather Sczepczenski, and Stacy Creel; friends, Sheryl Wolfe and Geanette Alexander; and special friends of the family, Emily Dodd and Angie Hutton.
In addition to her parents and husband, Janey was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph (Chip) Sczepczenski.
