Jennifer Christine Griggs

of Waynesboro, TN was born September 5, 1966 in Hardin Co., TN, the daughter of Hazel Brawley Hobbs of Waynesboro, TN who survives and the late Tom Frank Hobbs. She was united in marriage to Ricky Jack Todd on October 19, 1987. They had three children and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1991. She then married Joe Griggs on February 14, 1993 and together they raised her children.

Mrs. Griggs was a disabled CNA .

Mrs. Griggs departed this life on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Maury Regiona Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 48 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days.

Other than her mother, she is survived by her husband, Joe Griggs of Waynesboro, TN; son, Thomas Todd of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Demetra Todd and companion, Akeem of Nashville, TN, Desirea Todd of Collinwood, TN; stepson, Billy Griggs of Waynesboro, TN; stepdauther, Gidget Stricklin of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Frankie Pulley and Dianne Pitts both of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren; Trinity Todd & Kash Todd; step grandchildren; Jarrod Stricklin; Dustin Stricklin and wife Sarah ; Tyler Stricklin; Amy Lawson and April Griggs; great grandchilden;Johnathon Stricklin & Dawson Odle and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Billy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery , Westpoint, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 17th, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Tuesday, November 18th. from 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be given to assist the family.
