Mr. Braddock passed away Friday evening, January 10, 2014, at his home near Middleton.
A native of Tippah County, MS, he was the son of the late O. M. and Nettie McMillin Braddock and lived most of his life in the Faulkner, MS and Middleton areas. Mr. Braddock was a 1958 graduated of Faulkner High School and served as a City of Memphis Fireman for 26 years before retiring in October, 1991. He also worked at Tomlinson's Hardware in Walnut. A member of the Rogers Springs Church of Christ, he served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and especially his grandchlidren. Everyone knew him as "Pa-Paw" and his wife as "Momma Donna". He married the former Donna Ruth Childers on July 25, 1970 and they had been married 43 years at the time of his passing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Delores Crump of Bolivar and Debra (Bert) York of Counce, TN; his son, Don Luttrell of Bolivar; two sisters, Barbara Tomlinson of Ripley, MS and Brenda (Buddy) Tyler of Memphis; two brothers, Mack (Janice) Braddock of Chalybeate, MS and Andy (Rita) Braddock of Ripley, MS; seven grandchildren, Randy and Wayne Crump of Bolivar, Jason Tomlinson of Counce, Jonathan, Jerry Don and Brad Luttrell and Katie Railes, all of Bolivar; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mr. Braddock was preceded in death by a brother, Olin Braddock.
