Jetty Mae Griffin

Jetty Mae Griffin was born April 6, 1930 in Chester County, TN, the daughter of the late Willie Franklin and Mary Jewel England Guilliams.
She was united in marriage to L J (Jake) Griffin on May 19, 1951. Mr. Griffin preceded her in death on February 26, 2013. She retired from Brown Shoe Company. She loved singing in church, her flowers, crocheting, cooking and was well know for her chocolate chip cookies.
Mrs. Griffin departed this life on January 30, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Ware and husband Bear of Selmer, TN; a grandchild, Brandy Smith Melendez and husband Henry of Selmer, TN; two great grandchildren, Matt and Gabby Smith; a sister, Kay Melton of Enville, TN; a sister-in-law, Imogene Hunter and husband Clay of Shiloh, TN; two nephew, Harold English of Bartlett, TN and Mike Guilliams of Enville, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by a brother, Lelton Guilliams.
