JEWELL MCBRIDE
Pinson: Jewell Seronia Patterson McBride, age 80, died Sunday morning at Henderson Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. McBride was born and reared in the Laurel Hill Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Arnold and Sula Mae Seratt Patterson. She attended schools at Old Friendship and married Willard O. McBride in 1950 and they made their home at Pinson. She had worked as a lumber grader at Morgan Lumber Company retiring in 1995.
She is survived by two sons; Ricky McBride and wife Janice and Randy McBride and wife Jaye all of Jackson and a daughter Carla Mansfield of Henderson, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, a sister Lucille Locke of Henderson and two brothers Morris Wayne Patterson of Henderson and J. C. Patterson of Burns. She was preceded in death by a brother James Alvin Patterson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Dennis Seratt officiating and burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday.
