Jimmie Miley Creecy

was born September 30, 1932 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late William Leonard and Allie Rosie Haddock Creecy.

Mr. Creecy departed this life on June 2, 2018 at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 85 Years, 8 Months, 3 Days.

He was united in marriage to Hazel Virginia Wallace on September 19, 1960.Mr. Creecy was a Maintenance Mechanicfor the Angelica Coorporation . He was also member of the McGlamery Baptist Church in Collinwood TN .

He is survived by his wife Hazel Virginia Wallace Creecy of Collinwood, TN; a son, Roger Creecy and wife Vicki of Collinwood, TN; two sisters, Ella Sue McFadden of Paris, TN, Linnie Vivian Hall of Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren, April Thrasher, Adam Hollis, Jana Holt, Lucas Sanderson, Alan Sanderson, Jennie Sanderson; 8 great-granchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Creecy was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Arlene Hollis; a brother, Willie Wiley Creecy; and 2 great- granchildren.

Services will be held on June 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements
