Jimmie Kathryn Gray

Jimmie Kathryn Gray of Morris Chapel, TN was born September 15, 1943 in Leapwood, TN the daughter of the late Carl and Lucille Moore Lipford. She was united in marriage to Tommy Glenn Gray on August 12, 1961.

Mrs. Gray worked as a former Administrative Manager for Tandem Computers in Memphis. She also had worked for National Life Insurance Company and was retired from the Adamsville City Hall. She was a 1961 Graduate of Adamsville High School and a member of New Hope Fellowship Church in Adamsville. She enjoyed gardening, riding the golf cart, going out on the lake in a paddle boat, and vacations to the beach. Her love for her kids, grandkids, and all family was evident and demonstrated continually during her life.

Mrs. Gray departed this life on December 29, 2015 at her home in Morris Chapel at the age of 72 Years, 3 Months, 14 Days. She is survived by her husband Tommy Gray of Morris Chapel, TN; two sons, Tony Gray and wife Lisa of Bartlett, TN, Tracy Gray of Enville, TN; four grandchildren, Candice Land and husband Simon, Angela Gayden and husband Scott, Rebekah Gray, Preston Gray; two great grandchildren, Anthony Davis, Carol-Ann land; three sisters, Betty Hester and husband Ray of Bethel Springs, TN, Mary Sisk and husband Iley of Bethel Springs, TN, Fran Coley of Memphis, TN; four brothers, Gary Lipford and wife Jennie of Selmer, TN, Sam Lipford of Nashville, TN, Danny Lipford and wife Becky of Selmer, TN, Allen Lipford and wife Linda of Adamsville, TN and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lipford and his wife Pat.
