Jimmy Calvin Harber was born August 29, 1938 in Lenox, TN the son of the late Jim Hamlett and Bonnie L. Beard Harber. Mr. Harber departed this life on January 21, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 4 Months, 23 Days.
Mr. Harber served his country honorably in the United States Army. He received a medical discharge after 13 years of service. He received the National Defense Service Medal and was a decorated M-14 rifle marksman.
After his Army service, Mr. Harber was employed as a bus driver for Greyhound Bus Line and later worked as a limo driver. He moved to Adamsville, TN in 2006. He had lived previously in Kentucky and Maryland.
He is survived by two sons, James Harber, Jason Harber; two daughters, Jennie Harber, Flora Harber; a sister, Martha Messer and husband Harry of Winter Haven, FL; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harber was preceded in death by a sister Mary Lynn.
