Jimmy B. Neill, 74, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in the home of his daughter. He was born on May 25, 1939 in Savannah, Tennessee to Archie B. and Gladys (Gray) Neill. On May 24, 1980 in South Bend, Indiana, he was united in marriage to the former Marilyn Rohrbaugh who preceded him in death on July 18, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Neill.

Mr. Neill is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Larry) Fribley of South Bend, Indiana, Mikki (Larry) Cabanaw of Mishawaka, Indiana and Kim (Ron) Franklin of Osccola, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Carrie, Ben, Derek, Stephanie, Dillon, Christine and Cory; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack (Judy) Neill of Savannah, Tennessee.

Mr. Neill has lived in South Bend, Indiana for the last forty-eight years, coming from Tennessee. He was a truck driver, worked for eighteen years at Notre Dame and for thirteen years at AM General. He loved Notre Dame and working on cars, especially muscle cars. He enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds and squirrels.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel in South Bend, Indiana.
