Johnnie Claudette Nutt Helton

Johnnie Claudette Nutt Helton was born January 14, 1966 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of Roselee Turnbow Nutt who survives of Waynesboro, TN and the late John H. Nutt and granddaughter of the late Ivan and Georgie Nutt and Claude Turnbow and Hessie Turnbow Ray. She departed this life Thursday, February 4, 2016 at her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 21 Days. In earlier years Claudette worked at Pizza Hut in Waynesboro but was better known for her longtime employment at Wayne County Bank eventually becoming branch manager. She was a member of the Ladies in Pink Society and First United Methodist Church. Claudette and James Ray Helton of Waynesboro were married June 24, 1984. They have 2 daughters Britney Williams and her husband, Ben and Amber Staggs and her husband, Chris, grandchildren Carson and Charlie Williams, and Mallory Staggs all of Waynesboro.

Services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jerry Wayne Franks officiating. Burial will follow in Waynesboro Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ben Williams, Chris Staggs, Tony Helton, Scott Helton, Jackie Turnbow, and Josh Turnbow. Family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to Ladies in Pink Society or the Butterfly Foundation.
