Josefina Gonzalez Torres of Lutts, TN, was born July 6, 1937 in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of the late Silvestre Josemiguel and Emiliana Puerto Gonzalez. She was united in marriage to Felipe Orlando Torres on December 20, 1960.
Mrs. Torres was a retired cook having worked at La Estrella Cafeteria in Miami, Fl and Cardet's Cafeteria in Houston, TX before moving to Lutts, TN.
Mrs. Torres departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home at the age of 76 Years, 8 Months, 14 Days.
She is survived by her husband, Felipe Orlando Torres of Lutts, TN; sons, Isidio A. Torres of Lutts, TN and Orlando Torres and JoseMiguel Torres both of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Samantha, and Natalia Torres; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Davis and Tristan Baker.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Torres was preceded in death by brothers, Manolo and Celedonio Espinosa.
At her family's request, her body was cremated with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family.
