Juanita L. (Nita) Copeland

Juanita (Nita) L. Warren Copeland of Waynesboro, TN was born August 29, 1922 in Coble, TN, the daughter of the late John Harvel and Dora Williams Warren. She was united in marriage to John D. Copeland on August 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2012.

Mrs. Copeland was a homemaker, a retired factory worker, and had worked in the office of her husband's business, Copeland Top Soil.

Mrs. Copeland departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Farmington Hills, Michigan at the age of 91 Years, 4 Months, 25 Days.

She is survived by a son, Keith Copeland and wife, Donna of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Pam Copeland of McMinneville, TN and Johnnie Sue Rohraff and husband, Ray of Westland, MI; grandchildren, Donald Rohraff and wife, Leslie, Joseph Rohraff and wife, Melissa, and Alyssa McCoy; great- grandchildren, Jordan Rohraff, Dallas Rohraff, and August Rohraff; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by brothers, Cletis, Roy, Ergin, Austin, Pat, Kenneth, and George (Buddy) Warren; sisters, Myrtle Howell and Mavis McDonald.

Services will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, TN. Burial will be in the Choate-Copeland Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
