Julia Ann Harlow (Judy) Britt of Starkville Mississippi, widow of Joe A Britt (formerly of Greenwood, S.C.) passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville. She was born July 10, 1935 in Waynesboro, TN to the late Roy and Bonnye A. Harlow. She married Joe on September 3, 1954 in Waynesboro, TN and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1970. Judy was a homemaker, stay at home Mom and raised two boys in her early years. Later on she worked in several retail outlets as she truly loved to be around people. Rarely did she meet a stranger.

Surviving are her children, Ken Britt of Starkville, MS and Sonny (Renee) Britt of Laura, Illinois. Grandchilden are Brandon (Velvet) Britt of Conway, Arkansas. Erin (Dana) Tilley of Normal, Illinois and Lauren Britt of Victoria, Texas. Great grandchildren, Isaac, Avery and Eli Tilley. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Harlow. She was the last member of her immediate family. Also, surviving Judy is a brother-in-law Edward (Claire) Britt of Athens, GA and sister-in-law , Norma H. Britt, Greenwood SC, along with many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Visitation will be Thursday evening at Welch Funeral Home, Starkville, MS. Graveside services will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2 pm at Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Waynesboro. TN with Cal Hampton officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family.
