Junell Ratliff White
Junell Ratliff was born June 6, 1937, the daughter of Robert Tilman Ratliff and Faudie Jewell Sipes. She was united in marriage to Jimmy E. White on January 28, 1968.
Junell was a member of Crump Baptist Church. She was a very good seamstress and worked for 35 years in the manufacturing business. She loved the outdoors and her farm animals, cats, and dogs, especially her little dog she named Porkie. All of Junell's domestic animals were rescued pets, and she always had room for one more homeless animal. Junell always had a large garden and gave away as much as she canned. She was known to all her family and friends as an excellent cook and was famous for her pear preserves and pumpkin bread.
She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Jimmy; Tammy Kelley Eison and Tim Kelley, who Junell and Jimmy helped raise after their mother passed; sister, Mattie Sue (Pat) Thomas of Vicksburg, MS; and brother, Brownie Ratliff of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by Ouida Cockrill, Maxine Brooks, Jewell Hughes, Marie Erwin, Frankie Johnson, Royce Love, and Joyce Love Kelley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Hardin County Animal Shelter.
