Katie Diane Zakrison

Katie Diane Zakrison was born October 12, 1990 in Southfield, MI. She was a member of Saulters Chapel CME Church of Michie, TN. She loved arts and crafts, animals of all kinds, and most of all her family. Her true passion was caring for her children. Her dream was to become a surgeon and heal the sick.

Katie departed this life on August 28, 2015 in at the age of 24 Years, 10 Months, 16 Days.

She is survived by her children: Sam Bowen, Kaden Bowen and Alani Atkins; fiance, Darious Atkins of Selmer, TN; her parents; Rhonda Calhoun of Naples, FL, Terry Zakrison of Selmer, TN; her siblings: Shayla Brill, Justin Beegle and fiancee Alex Stute, Jeremy Beegle all of Naples, FL and Brayden Zakrison of Wixom, MI; paternal grandmother; Margaret Zakrison of Selmer, TN; mother-in-law; Christina Woods of Selmer, TN; brother-in-law, Desmon Walker of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Ontalasia Woods of Selmer, TN; stepmother, Laurie Moran of Selmer, TN; uncles, Barry Zakrison and David Morgan; aunts, Angel Morgan and Karri Zakrison; cousins; Megan Zakrison, Brandon Lee, Dustin Morgan and Tyler Morgan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
