Kello Lavern Whitaker

Kello Lavern Whitaker was born May 25, 1939 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Wilburn and Mattie Neill Shelton Whitaker. He departed this life on November 3, 2014 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 5 Months, 9 Days.
Mr. Whitaker was a retired United States Army Veteran and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was a Fireman for 24 years with the Michie, TN Volunteer Fire Department. He installed and serviced telephone, television, and various communication towers and was a Ham Radio Operator.
He is survived by a brother, Donald K. Whitaker of Michie, TN; a niece, Jennifer Wilson and husband Bo of Ramer, TN; two nephews, Jason Whitaker of McKinney, TX and Dakota Whitaker of Michie; five great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, a sister and two brothers.
