Ken Conway departed this life on November 20, 2014 at the Savannah Healthcare Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, and 1 Day. He was born on June 19, 1936, the son of the late Dalbert and Rosa Rittenhouse Conway.
He was united in marriage to Rieva Lee Wires on October 7, 1955, who survives.
Ken served his country in the National Guard in Indiana for eight years. He served six of those years as Reserve Duty, and the remaining two years as Active Duty. He was employed at Odle Chevrolet as a Service Manager, and was also self-employed at his filling station and mechanic shop, South Miami Auto Service, in Miami, Florida where he lived for 13 years. Ken was also a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Conway loved bowling and shooting pool. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as fishing, camping, farming, and gardening. He was known to be a very giving and loving person.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Michael Kenton Conway of Milledgeville, Tennessee, Patrick Kevin Conway of Noblesville, Indiana, and Christopher Joe Conway of Lexington, Tennessee; one daughter, Diana Lee Green of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Shirley Robinette of Morgantown, Indiana; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Millie Conway.
