Kenny Paul Dedrick was born March 31, 1958 in Waynesboro, TN and grew up in the Wayne Furnace 48 Creek area. He was a son of the late Samuel Ashley and Willa Fay Nuszbaum Dedrick. Mr. Dedrick died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home in Clifton, Tennessee at the age of 55 Years, 4 Months, 13 Days. Kenny served 6 years in the U.S. Army and 10 years in the Tennessee Army National Guard discharged as a sergeant. Upon leaving the military, Kenny was employed as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by a son, Jason Paul Evans and his wife, Stephanie of Georgetown, TX, two grandchildren, Parker Evans and Callan Evans, three brothers, Phil S. Dedrick of Waynesboro, TN, Anthony Wayne Dedrick of Clifton, TN, and Bryan Dedrick of Ravenna, OH; eight sisters, Carolyn Pearson of Savannah, TN, Charlie Mae Hardin of Clifton, TN, JoAnn Jackson of Raveena, OH, Samantha Kaye Davis of Savannah, TN, Janice Hughes and Nina Dedrick both of Waynesboro, TN, Bernice White of Clifton, TN, Michelle Kline of Raveena, OH, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dedrick was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Dedrick, Terry Dedrick, and Richie Dedrick, and a sister, Shirley Hite.
Memorial Services will be Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Dennis Price officiating. At his request his remains were cremated.
