Larry Lowrance was born April 29, 1947 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late John Hugh and Mary Evelyn Dillon Lowrance. He was the third of seven children.
He was united in marriage to Rebecca Gale Howell on August 7, 1970.
Mr. Lowrance was a logger working alongside his brothers for many years at Lowrance Logging. He served in the United States Army, 2nd Battalion 10th Infantry command during the Vietnam War. He liked old cars, in his collection was a Corvette and El Camino. He had a great knowledge of car motors and enjoyed watching Nascar.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather who believed in hard work, providing for his family and being supportive of his children.
Mr. Lowrance departed this life on March 4, 2018 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 10 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his wife, Gale Lowrance of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Amy Sabrina Lowrance of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Jamie Lee Lowrance and wife Lara of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, Joe Lowrance and wife Shirley of Hornsby, TN, Ricky Lowrance and wife Bilie Mae of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Faye Jarnagin and husband Chuck of Eastview, TN; four grandchildren, Derian Baggett and husband Jonathan, Emily Hostetler, Aidan Lowrance, Ethan Lowrance; two great grandchildren, Aliee Baggett, Elijah Baggett; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lowrance was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Sue King; two brothers, John Lowrance, Jimmy Lowrance.
