Lavon Reynolds was born April 25, 1928 in Ramer, TN, the son of the late W. M. and Mae Jernigan Reynolds. He worked at Brown Shoe Company for 38 years. He was a member of the Forty Forks Baptist Church. Mr. Reynolds departed this life on June 14, 2017 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 1 Month, 20 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Vickie Nixon and husband Steve of Bethel Springs, TN; a grandson, Brian Bargas and wife Renee; three great grandchildren; Will Bargas, Case Bargas, Raegan Bargas; two sisters, Martha Kudera of Hammond, IN, Dorothy Peoples of Dyer, IN; and a host of neices and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his wife, Verneal Williams Reynolds on July 3, 1999; six brothers; Raymond Reynolds, Cletus Reynolds, Hershel Reynolds, Clifford Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds and Kenneth Reynolds.
