Lemma Williams Skimehorne

Lemma Williams Skimehorne of Waynesboro was born June 22, 1948 in Davidson County, TN the daughter of the late Jess and Tommie Bianca Williams. Mrs. Skimehorne died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 8 Months, 20 Days. She had worked for Bell South Telephone Co. as an assignment clerk, retiring after 33 years. She was a member of Green River Baptist Church. She was married to Robert Gerald Skimehorne November 29, 1975 who survives of Waynesboro. Other survivors are daughters, Christy Skimehorne of Nashville, TN and Ashleigh Skimehorne of Waynesboro, TN, three grandchildren, Maliha Dodson, Montez Edmondson, Reginald Edmondson, several sisters in law and brothers in law. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Skimehorne was preceded in death by a a brother, James E. (Bubba) Williams. At her request she was cremated. Memorial Service will be 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro with Cal Hampton officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services.
