Lessie Whitlow

Lessie Whitlow, age 91, of Savannah, Tennessee died January 21, 2014.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Wesley and Alma Shutt. On September 5, 1942, she was united in marriage to Barney Whitlow, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2002.

Mrs. Whitlow retired as the bookkeeper of the Hardin County Farmers Co-op, she was a homemaker and a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son, Tommy (Glynda) Whitlow of Memphis, Tennessee and a daughter, Mary Jean Gresham (William) of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Neill of Savannah, Tennessee and Nell Neill of Somerville, Tennessee; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barney, she was preceded in death by a brother, Malone Shutt; two sisters, Lois Rhea and Winnie Galloway.
