Leva Walker Bundrant

Leva Walker Bundrant, age 94 years of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was the daughter of the late Herschell Walker and Addie Wisdom Walker Thornton of Topsy, TN. Mrs. Bundrant was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Norma Walker.

She was a Sunday School teacher over 50 years, a former employee with the Southern Baptist Foundation, a member of Adieliea Acklen Woman's Club and a retiree from Belmont University Administration, as Head-Resident at Wright Hall. After moving in 2010 from Smyrna, TN, she became a member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church in Horse Cave, KY.

Mrs. Bundrant is survived by two daughters, Gail B. Rogers of Munfordville, KY, and Ann (Jim) Phillips of Clarksville, TN. Her grandchildren, Terry (Brenda) Miller of Bristol, TN, Connie (Keith) O'Banion of Horse Cave, KY, Melody (Logan) Creasy of Homewood, AL, and Jamie (Jason) Durant of Troy, AL. Her great-grandchildren, David, Ryan and Scottie Miller, Jessica O'Banion, Gracen and Samantha Creasy, Paisley and Judson Durant .

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Memorial Gardens of Wayne County, Waynesboro, TN with burial to follow. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Shackleford Funeral Directors, 104 W. Hill Street, Waynesboro, TN.
