Lewis Allen Youngblood, native of Savannah, TN, was born April 4, 1938 and passed away at his home on December 6, 2014, a resident of Michie TN for the past 15 years, Lewis was retired from the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, District 57, Local Lodge No. 455, Muscle Shoals, AL. Prior to moving to Michie, Lewis was Owner/Operator of F&L Trucking, Ramer, TN, leasing equipment to Oscar Mayer, Chicago, IL. Served honorably with the U S Army, having been discharged July 1967. Member of Berwyn IL Masonic Lodge #839.
Survived by partner and wife of 26 years, Frances (Bird) Farley-Youngblood, native of Sicily Island, Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. Also survived by following: Sister, Betty Sue Youngblood-Milford of Stantonville TN, Cousin/Friend Loyd Melson, Savannah TN. Stepsons-Charles A Douglas, Hornbeck TN and Philip A Lobrano, Chewalla, TN. Stepdaughters-Pamela Davis, Union City TN, Rita St. Don, Abilene TX, and Lisa Journagan, Wichita KS. A number of stepgrandchildren and niece/nephew families. Special Friends-Richard and Joan Reed, Billy Burrell, and David and Doris Meeks, all of Corinth MS area.
Preceded in death by his parents, Roy Youngblood and Verrah Lewis-Youngblood, brother R J Youngblood, sister Mary Lou Youngblood-Britton, and special cousin/friend Jack Melson, all of Savannah and Ramer TN.
