Lois Clay Culp of Clifton, TN was born April 22, 1935 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Mahon and Nellie Nowlin Clay. Mrs. Culp died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Hardin County Hospital in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 10 Months, 10 Days. She was married to Billy Culp December 22, 1952 and he preceded her in death March 21, 2010. Mrs. Culp, a former resident of Memphis, had worked at Sears as a payroll clerk. She was a member of Mt. Auburn Methodist Church in Clifton.

She is survived by a son, Donnie Culp of Clifton, TN, a daughter, Jackie Hope of Drummonds, TN, grandchildren, Monica, Melanie, Belinda, Cameron and Clay, great-grandchildren, Kyra, Taylor, Baylee, Emily, Megan, Sara, Jeremy, Kayleigh, Caleb, Ashlin, Harley, Dakota, Shay, and Haiden.

Services will be Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Auburn Methodist Church in Clifton, Tennessee, with Josh Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the Culp's Chapel Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
