Lola Inell Carr Sherrill of Florence, AL was born April 12, 1948 in Cypress Inn, TN, the daughter of the late Leland Gaines and Olie Esther Elizabeth Balentine Carr.
She was a homemaker and departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Glenwood Nursing Facility in Florence, Alabama at the age of 66 Years, 1 Month, 16 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Melinda Harding of Huntsville, AL; a sister, Katie Carr of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sherrill was preceded in death by brothers, Dalton and Gene Carr and sisters, Reba Smith and Corine Woods.
A graveside service will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee, with Kevin Dillon officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be 30 minutes before the graveside service.
