Lona Belle Carr

Lona Belle Devers Carr of Farmington Hills, MI was born March 15, 1917 in Tennessee, the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Maude Woods Devers. She was united in marriage to James Byron Carr and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1988.
Mrs. Carr was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and departed this life on Friday, July 26, 2013 at her home at the age of 96 Years, 4 Months, 11 Days.
She is survived by a son, James Carr; a daughter, Peggy Martz and husband, Thomas; 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Carole Carr and ten siblings.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.
