Lona Marie Wheat

Lona Marie Riley Wheat of Linden, TN, formerly of Clifton, TN, was born November 14, 1928 in Perry Co., TN, the daughter of the late Ottis and Mary Dedrick Riley.
Ms Wheat was a retired factory worker and a member of the Riverside Methodist Church in Clifton, Tennessee. She departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Perry Community Hospital in Linden, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 6 Months, 11 Days.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Lee Wheat and Ricky Lynn Wheat and wife, Debbie and sister, Carrie Willie Davis all of Clifton, TN; grandchildren, Whitney Lynn and Mariah Lee Wheat.
In addition to her parents, Ms Wheat was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Louise Boyd.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Methodist Church, Clifton, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Randy Boyd, Jason Boyd, Randy Grooms, Joe Riley, Johnny Wayne Wheat and Kenny Battles.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN. Her body will be placed in the church one hour before the services on Wednesday.
