LOU NELL FALLS

Was born in Parsons, Tennessee on October 1, 1922 the daughter of the late Charlie and Flossie Livingston.

On September 22, 1942 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wellington Falls, who preceded his wife in death on February 16, 1976.

Mrs. Lou Nell had a pioneering spirit, as the sole proprietor owner and operator of Savannah's iconic landmark, The Brown Derby for three decades. In addition to her raising her own family, she was a mother figure to many who worked for her at the Brown Derby, she kept them near and dear to her heart. Lou Nell was very involved in the Hardin County community as one of the original pink ladies at the Hardin County Medical Center and volunteered for many years. While residing in Savannah, she was a faithful member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She spent endless hours in her gardens, cooking and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.

Mrs. Lou Nell passed to heaven Monday, December 4, 2017 at the age of 95 years, 2 months and 3 days.

She is survived by her two sons, Dennis Michael Falls (Kathryn) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Kenneth "Kenny" Falls (Alli) of Panama City Beach, Florida.

Mrs. Lou Nell is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kristie Schwab (Robert), Kevin Falls (Maylou), Eric Falls (Rona), Barker Fariss (Brandie), Brian Falls (Lea), Natalie Falls (Michael) and Brandon Falls and seven great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dolores Falls Drummond.
