LOU DEAN GARRARD
was born in Saltillo, Tennessee on July 5, 1927 the daughter of the late John Homer and Floia Esthes Butler Bingham
On August 24, 1946 she was united in marriage to Robert Hardin Garrard, who preceded his wife in death on February 18, 1966.
Mrs. Garrard retired after 25 years from Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Mrs. Garrard was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family and her church. She enjoyed sewing and growing flowers.
Mrs. Garrard departed this life on May 8, 2014 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 3 days.
She is survived by her children, Billy Garrard and his wife Ann of Savannah, Tennessee and Steve Garrard and his wife Angela of Birmingham, Alabama
six grandchildren, Krissy Clement of Savannah, Lindsey Schoeneck of Birmingham, Alison Franklin of Savannah, Cory Garrard of Birmingham, Ashley Garrard of Birmingham and Sara Garrard of Birmingham
three great grandchildren, Logan Kerr, Landyn Schoeneck and Lawson Schoeneck
one sister, Betty Essary of Gleason, Tennessee
one brother, Wayne Bingham of Collierville, Tennessee
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Melba Campbell
