Mrs. Hodum passed away Saturday morning at her home.
A native of Hardeman County, she lived here until she moved to Mississippi in 1972. She was the daughter of the late Elmo and Birdie Cox Breeden and was a former long-time employee of Harmon, previously known as Jervis, in Bolivar. She had also worked for Corinth Manufacturing. Mrs. Hodum was a member of the Central Baptist Church near Middleton, TN and in her spare time enjoyed gardening, cooking and family get-togethers. She had been a resident of Mississippi Care Center in Corinth since 2010.
She leaves as her survivors, her husband, Terry of Walnut; her children, Ronald (Delores) Baker of Middleton, Brenda Young of Drummonds, Vickie (Tim) Simer and Randall Baker, both of Bolivar and Keith (Tamisha) Hodum of Walnut; her brother, Carnell Breeden of Bolivar, 10 grandchildren, Rusty, Shannon, Brandon and Lisa Baker, Kevin and Brad Young, Angela Morgan, Elijah, Caleb and Brookhlyn Hodum; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Faith Hodum; a grandson, Anthony Baker; and a brother, Kenneth Breeden.
