Mrs. Louise Lambert, age 92 of Saulsbury, passed away Tuesday morning, March 11, 2014 at the Harris Grove Retirement Center in Whiteville.
Mrs. Lambert was born in Myrtle, Mississippi May 1, 1921 to the late Charles Thomas and Effie Lee Dean Dodds. On December 13, 1942, she was united in marriage to Mr. Pershing Percell Lambert, who preceded her in death May 8, 1998. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar. Among her hobbies, she especially enjoyed flowers & gardening, sewing, cooking and painting.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Benton of Saulsbury, and Linda Underwood and husband James of Hickory Valley; a sister, Faye Lewis of Memphis; two brothers, Dempsey Dodds of Memphis, and Billy Ralph Dodds of Bolivar; and two grandchildren, Ken Hines of Saulsbury, and Michael K. Smith of Hickory Valley.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Lehman and two brothers, Joe Dodds and C. W. Dodds.
