Loy Gail Byrd

Loy Gail Byrd was born on November 2, 1951, the daughter of the late Homer Ray and Margie Louise Kinsey Byrd. She departed this life on November 24, 2017.
In her earlier years, Gail loved her rocking chair, flipping the pages of Sears and JCPenney catalogs, and watching the Lawrence Welk Show and the Price is Right. She enjoyed upbeat music. Elvis was her favorite. Gail was affectionately called "Hound Dog" by those who loved and cared for her at the nursing home.
Gail is survived by her brothers, David Byrd and wife Paula, and Jonathan Byrd; and her nieces, Amy Byrd of Counce, Tennessee and Rebecca Daley of Kansas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Doss Byrd, Myrtle Carroll Byrd, William Claude Kinsey, and Geneva Estelle Skinner Kinsey, all of Counce, Tennessee.
Family requests memorial donations be made to the Activity Fund for the residents at Harbert Hills Nursing Home, 3575 Lonesome Pine Rd. Savannah, Tennessee.
