J. GUADALUPE RODRIGUEZ NAJERA
He was born on April 27, 1970 in Salitral de Carrera, SLP, Mexico. He was the son of Rafael and Maria Rodriguez. He passed away July 15, 2013 on his way to the Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, TN.
He was the ninth son out of ten; Manuel, Gerardo, Marcelino, Cuca, Rafael, Reyes, Martin, Francisco and Lucia. He was married to Claudia Rodriguez on November 5, 1993. They had three daughters, Romina, Maria and Cecilia Rodriguez.
He came to the United States to search for a better life around 1988. He was a very hard working man, a faithful husband, a good father and a responsible man.
He worked for several people but most of his lifetime, he worked for Mike Brooke and Dr. Carey Frix, when he wasn’t at work he always found something to do; whether it was at his own house or at friends and cousins house. He was addicted to work. He was also an old fashioned, strict Mexican dad, even though his daughters weren’t always happy with his rules. They knew he was always right and all he tried to do was protect his three girls and wife.
Funeral Mass will be 7:00 PM Monday July 22, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jackson with Father Enrque Granados officiating and burial will be later in Mexico.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
