Mrs. Lynda Bolyard Evans, age 48 of Bolivar, departed this life Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Evans was born April 15, 1965 in Jackson, Tennessee to Emmett and Pat Bolyard, both of whom survive. She graduated with the class of 1983 from Bolivar Central High School and attended Jackson State Community College. She was a former manager at McDonalds, having worked there for over 20 years. She also worked at CCA for 3 years. Past residences include Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Mayfield, Kentucky, prior to her return to Bolivar in 2000. She was united in marriage to Robert Charles Evans, who also survives, July 8, 2009.
In addition to her husband and parents, who all reside in Bolivar, other survivors include two brothers, Craig Bolyard of Smyrna and B. J .Bolyard of Bolivar; six nieces, Shelby Bolyard-Jewell, Alyssa Bolyard, Lindy Bolyard, Kadea Bolyard, Abby Bolyard and Beth Johnson; three nephews, Cody Bolyard, Austin Bolyard and Thorne Johnson; a great-nephew, Jackson Jewell; special friends, Tony and Becky Hodge; and a goddaughter, Cassie Searles Holmes of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Alice Bowers; paternal grandparents, Truman and Thelma Bolyard; and an uncle, Phillip Bowers.
