Manford Hornbuckle was born January 14, 1932 in Bethel Springs, TN, the son of the late William Marlie and Zina Arizona Thacker Hornbuckle.
Mr. Hornbuckle was a member of the Stantonville Methodist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee. He was in construction and was a heavy equipment operator, mostly operating a dozer. Manford loved wood working and most of all, his family.
Mr. Hornbuckle departed this life on January 27, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 13 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dean Smith Hornbuckle; four daughters: Teressa Campbell and husband Monty of Etowah, TN, Donna Stowell of Stantonville, TN, Amy Vaughn and husband Ken of Athens, TN, Linda Yochem and husband Charles of Alexandria, VA; two sons, David Hornbuckle of Stantonville, TN, Robert Hornbuckle and wife Teresa of Adamsville, TN; three sisters: Barbara Maxine Brandon and husband Joe of Huntingdon, TN, Jewel Frances Elam of Selmer, TN, Mary Dee Flatt and husband Randle of Mt. Vinson, TN; two brothers, Charlie Thomas Hornbuckle of Selmer, TN, Bobby Gene Hornbuckle of Purdy, TN; nine grandchildren: Brandon Warner, Briggett Smith, Brian Stowell, Brittany Campbell, Brandy Hornbuckle, Robin Stowell, Kristen Vaughn, Ashely Bates and Bradley Hornbuckle; and 11 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hornbuckle was preceded in death by a son, Manford Phillip Hornbuckle; a sister, Rachael Hornbuckle; two brothers, Maynard Hornbuckle and Earnest Hornbuckle.
