Manola L. Rowland

Mrs. Rowland passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Mississippi Care Center in Corinth, Mississippi.

She was born in Ripley, MS, the daughter of the late Counce and Hattie Bell Thompson Munn and was a life-long resident of Hardeman County. On September 28, 1946, she was united in marriage to Mr. Lloyd E. Rowland and they were married for 51 years prior to his passing on November 15, 1997. Mrs. Rowland was a homemaker and member of the New Salem Primitive Baptist Church her entire life.

She leaves her daughter, Beverly Davis and her husband, Carlton, of Middleton; 2 grandchildren, Johnny Davis and his wife, Nancy, of Middleton and Julie Speck and her husband, Kevin, also of Middleton; 5 grandchildren, Kelsey and Cameron Moore, Kayla, Kylie and Colton Speck; and 2 step-grandchildren, Ryan Vaughn and Mason McClure.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Annie Cutbirth, Ruby Graham and Lura Luna; and 2 brothers, Mansel and Willie Munn.
