Margie Rhea Russell

Margie Rhea Russell was born May 26, 1925 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Thomas S. and Myrtle Lee King McGee.

She was united in marriage to R.D. Russell on September 2, 1944. Mr. Russell preceded her in death on February 4, 2007.

Mrs. Russell was a member of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flower gardens, sewing and quilting.

Mrs. Russell departed this life on June 9, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 14 Days. She is survived by three sons, Ray Russell and wife Jane of Oakland, TN, Larry Russell and wife Jane of Stantonville, TN, Danny Russell and wife Melinda of Middleton, TN; a sister-in-law, Agnes McGee of Selmer, TN; seven grandchildren, Matthew Russell and wife Lacye, Joel Gray and wife Ashley, Daniel Russell and wife Amie, David Russell and wife Whitney, Scotty Lawson, Jordan Vaughn and husband Brandon, Sydney Russell; eight great grandchildren, Beau Russell, Luke Russell, Hannah Marie Russell, Aspen Gray, Mallorie Gray, Ian Gray, Tennyson Russell, Gianna Russell; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by five sisters, Bessie Lee Taylor, Vestie Lou Locke, Annie Jane Russell, Martha Sue Dumas, Jewel Richardson; two brothers, T.A. and W.A. McGee.
