Marie Driver Clayton Burleson

Sylvia Marie Driver Burleson was born January 25, 1934 in Tuscumbia, AL the daughter of the late Jimmy and Grace Halbert Driver. Mrs. Burleson died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 4 Months, 23 Days. A retired school teacher, Mrs. Burleson taught school in Alabama and more recent in the Wayne County School System. She was a member of Wayne Bible Center.

She is survived by a son, Jack Clayton and wife Connie of Russellville, AL, a grandson, Ryan Clayton and wife Lisa of Killen, AL, great grandchildren, Ella Marie, and twins Isabella and Sophia Clayton, stepdaughters, Donna Bogue and husband John of Trenton, TN and Angie Holt and husband Stacey of Cypress Inn, TN, a sister, Jimmie Nell Kelley of Waynesboro, TN and a brother, Tommy Driver and wife Mary of Texarkana, TX, step granddaughters and
step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and a special pet, Sugar.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at the McCall Cemetery in Collinwood, Tennessee with Hal Clark officiating. Interment will follow services with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
