Henderson, TN: Mark Anthony Peddy age 53 was born to Thelma Rhodes Peddy and the late Jasper Allen Peddy May 4, 1961. He passed away at his home March 25, 2015.
He leaves behind his wife of sixteen years, Starla Coleman Peddy, a stepson, Michael Jones (Candice Jones), granddaughter, Savannah Jones; three sisters, Cynthia Peddy Haynes, Lisa Peddy, and Tina Peddy Henley; two brothers, Bryan Peddy and Brent Peddy; nieces, Alexis Peddy, Katie Peddy and Taylor Peddy; nephews, Nathan Haynes, Derek Haynes and Justin Peddy; aunts, Kay Rhodes Thomas Weaver and Velta Peddy Flippo and a host of cousins; his mother-in-law, Mildred Coleman, sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Keith Waldrop and niece Alexis Waldrop all of Jackson; also a goddaughter, Chasity Cupples and god grandson, ‘Best Bud’ Aiden Cupples; and his pride and joy, Ollie, Stella and Morgan man’s best friends.
Mark was loved by everyone he met he was known for his good heart always willing to help anyone in need with his angelic voice. I’m sure he is singing God’s praises as he entered the pearly gates this morning.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Johnny Connor, Rick Babin and Bill Evans officiating and burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday.
