Marshall Lee Pitts

July 7, 1964 — January 25, 2015

Marshall Lee Pitts was born July 7, 1964 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late J.C. and Imogene Staggs Pitts. Mr. Pitts departed this life on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 6 Months, 18 Days. He was a sawmill worker and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by two brothers, Jerry Wayne Pitts of Clifton, TN and David Pitts of Waynesboro, TN, three sisters, Dianne Pitts and Dorothy Brewer both of Collinwood, TN, and Judy Miller of Smith County, TN, 4 nephews and 3 nieces. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pitts was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Wayne Pitts.

Services will be held on January 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangemens.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 29th from 5:00-10:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until service time at Cornerstone Church.
