Martha Ann Franks

Martha Ann Barber Franks was born February 22, 1932 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Jesse and Minnie Mae Foster Barber.

Mrs. Franks was a finisher for Brown Shoe Company and operated a fruit stand. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She loved square dances, reading, drawing, bird watching, growing flowers, talking on the phone, and going to gospel singings.

Mrs. Franks departed this life on January 24, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 11 Months, 2 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Kathie D. Wilson and partner Angie Lambert of Finger, TN, Sandra Kay Durham and husband Danny of Bartlett, TN; five grandchildren, Brandon Bauman, David Bauman, Angela (Rickman) Steadman, Eric Wilson, Jessica Wilson and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Franks was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, A.C. Russom; husband, James Franks; a daughter, Olivia Diane Rickman; a infant sister, Georgia Ann Barber; brother, Robert Lee Barber Sr., half brother, James Arnold Pickens.
