Mary Elizabeth "Buck" Stewart Vincent, widow, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and child of God, left her earthly home on June 5, 2017. All can be comforted that there is great celebration in that this child of God has entered her Heavenly home.
Visitation services will be convened at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Middleton on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Visitation is planned for family, from 6:00-6:30 p.m. and friends from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Visitation will also occur from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on June 9, 2017 prior to the service at 11:00 a.m..
Interment will immediately follow at the West Memorial Baptist Church cemetery, located in Saulsbury, Tennessee.
In her time on earth, Mary Elizabeth ("Buck") served others through her artistic talents, musical talent, her ministry to children, adults, and missions , her watch care of the creatures (especially cats) of this earth, and her demonstrations of love to God, family, and friends. She retired from Western Mental Health Institution, Bolivar, Tennessee.
She leaves her three children, Teresa Hope Madison-Morony-spouse Richard Morony, Michael Leon Vincent-spouse Pat Vincent, and Stewart Kyle Vincent-spouse Jenny Vincent, grand-children, Page Elizabeth Madison, Axel Vincent Madison-spouse, Amber Dawn Madison, Elizabeth Ann Vincent, Joshua Stewart Vincent, and Mikayla Reh Vincent, great-grandchildren, Oakley Robert Madison, Ryker Reed Madison, and Everleigh Rae Madison, siblings, J.D. Stewart-spouse Pauline Stewart, Mackye Hosse, Faye Gullett, Jeanette Harrell, and Brenda James, sister-in-law, Shirley Vincent, and numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents- Athalia McBride Stewart, Will Dewey Stewart, in-laws-Perle Black Vincent and Cecil Robert Vincent, her beloved husband- Shelby Leon "Bull" Vincent, her husband's brother, Billy Vincent, her sisters-Christine Stewart, Vivian Tidwell Greer, Verlon Baker, Dorothy Williams, Glenda Luttrell Young, and a brother-Delbert Stewart, and their spouses, and a grandson, Nathan Michael Vincent.
Much appreciation is felt for all the kind words, acts of love, prayers, support of others, and to the Shackelford Funeral Home staff , the officiating minister, Warren Harrell, and to Steve Woods, for musical worship.
A special word of thanks is expressed to Mrs. Cindy Flake, long term caregiver and friend, for all the care faithfully and lovingly rendered to both Mary Elizabeth and her late husband, Leon.
