MARY KILLINGSWORTH

Henderson, TN: Mary Lea Killingsworth, age 70, passed away Thursday December 4, 2014 at her home.

She was born August 7, 1944 in Michie, TN the daughter of the late Clifford Killingsworth and Maggie Inez Wilbanks Rogers. She attended schools in McNairy County. She worked at several factories while raising her children. She later worked as a C.N.A. and in the laundry department of the Hardin County Home in Savannah. She retired in 2010 and began making her home in Henderson.

Mrs. Killingsworth is survived by a son, Terry Durham and wife Joyce of Adamsville and two daughters, Teresa Holifield and husband Lee of Piggott, AR and Anittia Carnell and husband Tiny of Henderson; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Delta Rogers of Enville; four sisters; Lena Coffman of Counce, Brenda Hubbard of Morris Chapel, Linda Haddock of Alabama and Glenda Flynn of Savannah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, William Rogers and Billy Rogers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Larry Taylor officiating and burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery at Michie, TN.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM Saturday.
