Melvin Dwayne Griggs

Melvin Dwayne Griggs was born April 23, 1984 in Wayne County, TN the son of Malvin Griggs and Evelyn Holt Hardy both of Waynesboro. He died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 29 Years, 10 Months, 17 Days. He was a sawmill worker and an ordained minister in Universal Life Church.
Other than his parents he is survived by his children Kaitlyn Griggs, Kevin Griggs, and Bentley Langford, two brothers, Jimmy Holt and wife Angel and Robert Holt (Shaundra Brewer) all of Waynesboro, TN.
Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery in Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
