Merlene Curtis Wilson departed this life on Friday, April 18, 2014, at the age of 64 years, 10 months.
She was born in Corinth, Mississippi on June 18, 1949, the daughter of the late Myrlin Lee and Lena Barnes Curtis. Merlene graduated from Alcorn Central High School and was a member of the Lorrine Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee. She an antique dealer and loved to donate to cancer awareness.
Merlene is survived by her daughters, Brandylynn Dawn Galloway of Lusby, Maryland and Rachel Merlene Gable Hekking of Black Mountain, North Carolina; sons, Shawn Adam Wilson and Myrlin Ray Gable both of Savannah, Tennessee, and Rodney James Wilson of Doniphan, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; and a sister, Madean Louella Henderson of Savannah, Tennessee.
