Mickey Earl (Jed) Gilchrist

Mickey Earl (Jed) Gilchrist of Adamsville, TN was born May 22, 1957 the son of the late Milford Earl and Johnnie Ruth McMahan Gilchrist. He departed this life on May 11, 2015 in Jackson, TN at the age of 57 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days.

Jed was a 1975 Graduate of Adamsville High School and was a Carpenter. He was a member of Meeks Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was devoted to his children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends. Horses were one of his main enjoyments.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Anita Riddle of Adamsville; four daughters, Katrina Fiddler and husband Robert of Darden, TN, Amba Clayton of Adamsville, TN; Brandy Gilchrist and husband Jody of Stantonville, TN, Christy Hubanks of Bethel Springs, TN; six grandchildren, Hannah Kiser, Hayden Brown, Hunter Brown, Blaine Clayton, Makenna Clayton, Jace Fiddler;
three sisters, Kay Moore and husband Randy of Adamsville, TN, Nancy Wade of Adamsville, TN, Molly Skinner and husband Ronnie of Adamsville, TN; two brothers, Rickey Gilchrist and wife Amy of Stantonville, TN, Keith Gilchrist and wife Jeani of Adamsville, TN and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gilchrist was preceded in death by a sister, Theda Gilchrist.
