Millie Izeal Shaw

Millie Izeal Bailey Shaw, age 94 of Reagan, TN was born December 12, 1919 in Henderson County, TN the daughter of the late Robert O. and Lula E. Veteto Bailey. She grew up in the Lester Community. At age 16, she married R. D. Johnson and they made their home in Reagan, TN and raised their children there. She and Mr. Johnson used to travel and sing throughout the hills and hollers at area Pentecostal churches. Mr. Johnson passed away in 1986. She worked at the Salant and Salant garment factory for forty years before retiring. She married Mr. Clater Shaw on February 20, 1998. She was a member of the Jacks Creek Apostolic Church but had also attended The Mission of Christ church in later life with her husband Clater. She loved flowers, gardening and going to rummage sales. Most importantly in life, she loved the Lord and her family.
She is survived by her husband Clater Shaw of Reagan, TN, three sons James Johnson and wife Carolyn of Reagan, William Johnson and wife Geanette of Saltillo, and Marty Johnson of Reagan; two sisters Inez Johnson of Huron, TN and Inell Ross of Reagan; one brother Ivy Bailey of Reagan; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 14 great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Linville.
