Naomi Cook Love departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2015, at the age of 93 years, 4 months, 19 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee, on January 20, 1922, the daughter of the late John Elvin and Vera Bain Cook. On October 25, 1941, she was united in marriage to Kendrick Love, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2003.
Naomi had lived most of her life in Hardin County and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She had worked at Clifton Manufacturing as a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, and loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Freddie Love and wife, Shirley of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bobby Melton and wife, Lori, Bill Melton and wife, Amy, Ronnie Melton and wife, Bridgett, Mike Melton and wife, Karen, Brandy Linam and husband, Kerry, Scotty Love and wife, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Ryan Melton, Cole Melton, Allie Melton, Jackson Melton, Grant Melton, Nia Melton, Ella Melton, Liam Melton, Peyton Melton, Carter Melton, Lilly Linam, Eli Linam, Abby Love, and Lainey Love; and son-in-law, Kelton Melton of Walnut, Mississippi.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Melton; brothers, J.A. Cook and Murry Cook.
