O. C. Stricklin

O. C. STRICKLIN

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on August 31, 1936 the son of the late William Ledford and Flora Angeline Franks Stricklin.

On August 25, 1960 he was united in marriage to Emma Lois Vickery, who preceded her husband in death on February 21, 1994.

Mr. Stricklin was a retired life-long farmer and served his country in the National Guard. He enjoyed in his spare time watching baseball on TV.

Mr. Stricklin departed this life on May 24, 2018 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 24 days.

He is survived by his children, Randy Stricklin, Terry Stricklin and Carol Stricklin King, all of Savannah, Tennessee.

two grandchildren, Emma King and Cade Stricklin, both of Savannah, Tennessee

one sister, Lorene Franks of Savannah, Tennessee and one brother, George Stricklin of Cypress Inn, Tennessee

Mr. Stricklin was also survived by a very special friend and caregiver, Wendy Smith

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Bobby Joe and John Henry Stricklin and six sisters, Inez Stricklin, Margaret Stricklin, Pearl Hughes, Gladys Robbins, Polly Franks and Betty Stricklin.
